Chancey is deployed in a test environment on the Base Sepolia network, allowing players to explore its mechanics and governance model before the full launch on Base.

Interacting with Chancey is just like using any other dApp. However, since it runs on a test network, you may need to configure your wallet.

Network Configuration

Immediately after connecting your wallet, Chancey will prompt you to switch to Base Sepolia. If you're using MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet, the network switch will happen automatically. However, if the switch fails because the network is missing from your wallet, you'll need to manually add it using the following configuration:

  • RPC: https://sepolia.base.org

  • Chain ID: 84532

  • Currency: ETH

  • Block Explorer: https://sepolia.basescan.org

If you're using Phantom wallet, you'll have to enable test mode and pick the right network:

  • Enable Test mode: Go to Account -> Settings -> Developer Settings and toggle Testnet Mode switch.

  • Select Ethereum Sepolia and switch over to Base Sepolia.

Test ETH

You'll also need test ETH to pay for transactions and tickets. Fortunately, the Base team has compiled a list of faucets to help you get some. You can find them here: .

If you're having trouble with your wallet or need help getting test ETH, feel free to reach out on Warpcast!
